There were three barbecues and a picnic this past weekend and I made the wild arugula pesto for two of the gatherings. Yep, it’s summertime. I usually mix the pesto with penne but had only fusilli in the pantry and no time to go to the store, so I used what I had. Happily, the substitution was successful; the corkscrew pieces picked up the pesto so well I’m going to make it my pesto pasta.
