A roadside attraction I’d love to see, especially on a rainy day.
Sign: No Parking, Horses OK
Wall Art: Beatles Love
Roadside Sign: Blowing in the Wind

Photo taken in West Hollywood, CA. (Thanks, Robert!)
The song in my head now: Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind.” Here are numerous artists performing the classic.
Signs: Side of the Road Preaching
Wave: Art Restored

Driving up PCH last weekend, I spotted a new American Apparel shop. Yep, there’s another one (everywhere you turn it seems, just like Starbuck’s). But news via Racked LA: the store is in the same space that once housed a surf shop, with a wave mural above it by a surfer and surfboard shaper, and American Apparel commissioned the artist to restore the mural. Good nod to history. (Image from Racked LA).
Roadside: Street Art by Shark Toof
Roadside: All Wrapped Up
Sign: Multi-Purpose Store
Byrne’s Roadside
The always-amazing Boing Boing links to a creepy roadside photo taken by the always-amazing David Byrne. As it’s a roadside shot, I have “Road to Nowhere” by the Talking Heads stuck in my head; here is Byrne performing it live:
Exercise in Progress
Whereabouts
Road Sign Warning
I’m amused by signs by the side of the road. Wish I’d seen this one myself.
